Historic Preservation
When Lyndon was first settled, the founders were instrumental in forming Whiteside County. For many years, Lyndon had many "firsts" (see below). Should the Village look for ways to celebrate, remember and preserve Lyndon's rich history?Yes
Boat Launch (Small Craft)
The Village has committed to being a part of the Rock River Trail Initiative , but currently there is no access to put in your canoe/kayak. Should the Village install a small craft boat launch for residents and visitors alike?Yes

Additional Comments about a UTV trail system (Optional)Yes – need a trail! We keep giving all our ATV trail business to the state of Wisconsin! Could connect it to live music venue area as well as current business.

Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about that we missed in this survey? (Optional)Not that I can think of. This survey was an excellent idea! I see businesses in local towns bringing business in successfully & would like same for Lyndon. Perhaps a business or 2 that can make part of their income online to ensure a better chance of success (example = Envy Boutique in P’town started online). Great restaurants & bars bring people in regardless, but often hard to establish. Maybe need combination business (like 3 T’s (unsure of name) in Morrison managed by Tracie Heusinkveld. It works because not dependent on just one avenue of income….
